Where do I start with Sasha Singleton? She’s synonymous with import modelling. She’s one of the import model pioneers that newcomers to the industry idolize. Reena Vasquez named Sasha as one of her role models in her Bastardly Interview. I know she’s heard it a million times but her mixed ethnicity, exotic look exponentially increases her level of sexiness and keeps the boys coming to Hot Import Nights. What hasn’t Sasha accomplished is the question we should be asking. Miss Hot Import Nights…check! Magazine covers…done that! Playboy…damn right! Calenders…oh yes! Television…yup!. Spokemodel…uh huh! Hot website…oooh yeah!! Bastardly Interview….yes, yes y’all!!!

When did you first realize, “Damn, I’m really hot!�?

Haha! I never thought of myself as hot. I was always (and still am) very shy.

What is it about modeling that makes it worth your time? The sexy outfits? The sweet locations? Seeing your face across media? The adoring (non-stalkerish) fans?

I love the fans, they make it worthwhile to me. I get to meet so many people all over the world that I would have never got to meet if it weren’t for modelling. Plus I get to travel everywhere for free! Haha!

Do you think your initial exposure and success as an import model has inspired the influx of models we see at the shows nowadays?

Yes, definately! When I first started in the scene there were not that many models, as the years passed and import modelling became more mainstream I noticed that there were more and more models trying to break in.

What’s your opinion on girls going for surgery to enhance body parts for modeling opportunities…most commonly, getting bigger boobs?

I do not have a problem with it, I think whatever a woman can do to better herself in her own eyes is great. I personally would never get plastic surgery but that is my own opinion.

As you are in a very competitive publicity industry, have you ever witnessed (or been involved) in backstage cat fights/sabotage amongst the models? No need to be shy…we can leave out names!!!!

Of course! There is so much drama and catfights that go on behind the scenes. Anywhere that there are countless beautiful women there is bound to be drama! But I try and stay away from it as much as I can. I know who my real friends are and that’s all that matters.

How did you get yourself comfortable posing nude? And, how did you get involved with Playboy? There must be a story behind that, right?!!??!

Yes, I love posing nude. I think that the female body is a beautiful work of art. I went to a casting call at the Playboy building and much to my surprise I got a call back the next day and started shooting various editions such as “Sexy Girls Next Door”, “Wet and Wild”, “Book of Lingerie”, and many more. So my story isn’t all that exciting!

You model everything from lingerie to your own silky skin, so when do you feel the sexiest? Does it have more to do with atmosphere, mood or attire? How do define sexiness?

Sexiness to me is not about being nude or clothed, it is about how I feel in my own skin. When I am comfortable and laughing and being carefree…that is when I think I look the sexiest.

Men love the girl on girl fantasy. Do you include a girlfriend into photo shoots to spice it up on purpose?

Of course! Haha, I love posing with my beautiful friends. Plus we have a blast and men love it…what more can you ask for!
