I just can’t get enough of those Prestigious Models. Meet the Filipina/British beauty Melanie Tillbrook. The newly FSU graduate can be found making various appearances throughout the country while also recording her album back home in Tampa, FL. When did you first realize, “Damn, I’m really hot!�?
Well one day I rolled over looked in the mirror and was like “Damn.. How you doing?” No, I’m just kidding ummm.. I think I came out of that ugly duckling phase when I was like 15. Then I kind of realized that modeling might be a cool direction especially after I lost like 20lbs my first year of college. My ex-boyfriend fueled my fire to get hotter. (And yes he came crawling back.)
What is it about modeling that makes it worth your time? The sexy outfits? The sweet locations? Seeing your face across media? The adoring (non-stalkerish) fans?
Besides the obivious cash flows, I really love to travel and meet new people. I’ve been able to learn so much about the world from my job and it’s exciting eveytime I see some new print ad. Plus I have to give it up for the fans they are so awesome and I have much love for them!
In regards to your music career I imagine you get your inspiration from somewhere. Do you have a certain vocalist/performer you use as a role model? Any sites online where we can hear some of your work?
As far as inspirations, I would have to credit Mariah’s musicality, Michael Jackson’s entertaining skills, and Madonna’s ability to keep reinventing herself. You will be able to hear my new work in about 6 months when I finish the final vocals on my album. I have been slowly working on this project since 2003. So I’m very excited about it and it will be available on MsMelanie.com
With the photo shoots, appearances, and recording does it leave any time for you to hold down a boyfriend?
It makes relationships very tough, but I love to be in love. What can I say I’m a hopeless romantic. So I do hold down a bf, but it can be a challenge.
As you are in a very competitive publicity industry, have you ever witnessed (or been involved) in backstage cat fights/sabotage amongst the models? No need to be shy…we can leave out names!!!!
Hahaha well not anything to dramatic, I have witnessed how sheer politics determine how models are picked for different assignments and how who you know can make a big difference. There’s always politics in this industry it all depends who has beef with who etc.
Do you have any problems posing nude? What if Playboy came knocking at your door? Would you be answering?
I am not currently taking the whole “going nude” direction, I just don’t think it’s right for me at this point of my career, especially with me bursting onto the music scene. I am a creator and artist and I want people to hear what I’m saying not my lack of clothing. I was approached by Playboy and don’t get me wrong they are a hott magazine, I love Playboy, and yes the money is great but there are so many girls who would like that opportunity so they deserve it. And I’m currently under a contract that specifies no nudity 
You model everything from lingerie to bikinis, so when do you feel the sexiest? Does it have more to do w/ atmosphere, mood or attire?
I can feel sexy in just about anything, I think it’s part of my nature. I can wear my pjs or snow boots and I still feel like a sex kitten. haha
Men love the girl on girl fantasy. Do you include a girlfriend into photo shoots to spice it up on purpose?
Sure, I also want to shoot with my hottie girlfriends some times it makes it more fun ya know..
