Sandra Sanchez is the reason I’ve contacted my local cable company to get Fuel TV. In addition to The Daily Habit and NuMuTu on Fuel TV you’ll catch the lovely Sandra working the red carpet on the Starz! network smoozing it up with Hollywood’s A-listers. Get yourself more acquainted with Sandra in that Bastardly way we do and check her out at sandrasanchez.tv!!!

When did you first realize, “Damn, I’m really hot!??
I’m not sure if I really even think that now, but thanks for the compliment! I actually really hated my body growing up. I was training to be a professional ballet dancer and I didn’t have the typical ballerina body, so it caused me a lot of grief. Once I realized there was more in the world than just ballet I guess I became more comfortable with myself.
I imagine you get your inspiration from somewhere. Do you have a certain TV personality or actress you use as a role model?
I actually don’t really have a specific role model, although I’m constantly following what other hosts are up to and TiVoing as many shows with hosts as possible.
With the work that you’ve been doing with Starz we want to know who’s been the most intriguing interview? Now tell us, there must be stories of scandalous red carpet action that was just too hot for TV that you’d like to share with us!?? We love scandal and celebrity gossip here!
I think my favorite interview has been with Charlize Theron. She was so unpretentious and nice. And of course as beautiful in person as you would expect her to be.
What does the typical day for Senorita Sanchez comprise of? Take our hand & walk us through b/c obviously you’re keeping real busy these days!
Well, it really depends. When I am shooting for Fuel TV I have to get up at 6:45! But normally I get up around 9:30 to walk my dog and go to yoga. Then I either have lunch with a friend or a lunch meeting. The afternoon is normally spent driving around town to auditions or returning emails and phone calls.
At the moment it looks like you are building a solid resume so that you can make the big jump. You’re obviously a very motivated person, so let us peek into your head a little. Who is steering your career? Your manager? Your personal goals & desires?
Well, I do have an amazing manager, Marki Costello. She’s been with me since my first show on MTV over 2 years ago. Right now I’m really happy working for Fuel TV, and just waiting for the next great show to come along. I really feel like I’m fulfilling my dream right now, of course I have loftier goals but I understand that getting there is a process and a lot of hard work!
Now let’s talk LA! As an alumnus of USC you must have made late night taco and burrito runs at Chanos, right?!? That’s all I ever heard about from my friends that went to USC and when I visited I had to appreciate the 2am Chanos run myself. Do you have any secret places? Plug away!
It’s actually really funny that you mention Chanos because I actually named my dog after that place! He’s a Chihuahua, so I figured Chano was a good Mexican name for him. Plus I had to pay homage to the tastiest, stomach-cramp-inducing burritos in LA. I definitely frequented the 3 bars that ‘SC has to offer. Traddie’s on campus was my favorite, and if you are thinking about going to the 9-0 I highly suggest getting drunk first!
What has to be the craziest party you’ve hit in LA in all your mingling w/ the scandalous & famous? Have any juicy invitations to the Playboy Mansion made it into your mailbox yet?
I’ve actually been really lucky, since my boyfriend is one of the top DJ’s in LA I’m completely spoiled when it comes to not having to wait in line and getting free drinks. We’ve been invited to the Playboy Mansion, but we’ve never made it up there. I’m not all about running around in lingerie, so I don’t even know if they would let me in!
